Wyndham Hosts 2025 Eurasia Executive Summit in Lucknow to Explore the Future of Travel
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts hosted its 2025 Eurasia Executive Summit at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham in Lucknow. This one-day event gathered over 150 participants under the theme “Going Places: Navigating the Future of Travel.” The summit focused on emerging trends, tools, and practical insights, fostering discussions and networking among Wyndham’s hotel partners, general managers, and suppliers. The agenda featured workshops, interactive sessions, and panel discussions on topics including domestic and outbound travel trends, the future of hospitality, talent development, and guest feedback management.
In his opening address, Dimitris Manikis, President EMEA, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, emphasized the Eurasia region’s role in the company’s growth and expressed appreciation for the support of franchise partners.
He stated, “Our Executive Summit in Lucknow highlights the importance of the Eurasia region, one of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ expanding markets. Over 60% of our hotel partners attended the summit for the first time, indicating a growing level of engagement across the region. These events provide a platform for industry leaders and partners to share their perspectives, explore potential solutions, and foster stronger relationships. By collaborating and learning together, we are contributing to the ongoing development of the travel sector.”
The summit concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing achievements in categories such as General Manager of the Year, Hotel of the Year (KPI Based), Commercial Performance (KPI Based), Sustainable Hotel of the Year (Level 5 Wyndham Green Hotels), and the EMEA President’s Award for community, people, and growth. The day ended with a Diwali celebration hosted by the Wyndham team.

Wyndham continues to expand its presence in the EMEA region. In the first half of 2025, its portfolio grew to more than 720 licensed hotels, a five percent increase from the previous year. This included over 60 new openings with more than 4,700 rooms and 27 additional contracts across EMEA markets. In Eurasia, 21 new hotels opened during the same period, including Ramada Encore by Wyndham Lucknow Airport, Ramada by Wyndham Cox’s Bazar Kolatoli Beach, and Wyndham Garden Jim Corbett Chhoi.
