Unbound Collection by Hyatt Marks 10 Years with New Hotels in the Americas
New additions reflect continued growth across key destinations
The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is marking its 10th anniversary with the addition of new hotels across the Americas. Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a mix of recent and upcoming openings, including The Georgian in Santa Monica, Hotel 1000 in Seattle, Cayo Levantado Resort in the Dominican Republic and The Clayfield in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
Launched in 2016, the brand brings together independent hotels and resorts, each with its own identity and story. The latest additions highlight the brand’s presence across urban, coastal and resort destinations, while continuing to build its portfolio of distinct properties.
Hotel 1000 in Seattle is located near the city’s waterfront and offers 120 rooms and suites designed to reflect the Pacific Northwest. Interiors feature a mix of natural tones, wood textures and large windows overlooking Puget Sound and the city skyline. Public spaces include a cocktail lounge and a seafood-focused restaurant inspired by the region’s maritime heritage.
In California, The Georgian in Santa Monica has reopened following restoration. Originally built in 1933, the hotel retains its Art Deco character while incorporating contemporary elements throughout its 84 rooms and suites. The property also includes dining venues, event spaces and curated guest experiences linked to its history.

Cayo Levantado Resort, set on a private island in the Dominican Republic, is expected to join the collection later this year. The resort will feature 218 suites, along with dining venues, wellness facilities and cultural activities. Its wellness offering includes a dedicated zone inspired by Taíno traditions, with programmes focused on relaxation, movement and balance.
In Canada, The Clayfield is scheduled to open in mid-2026 in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Hyatt property is designed to reflect the surrounding wine region, with interiors shaped by local materials and vineyard landscapes. Plans include a spa offering treatments based on natural elements, along with experiences developed in collaboration with nearby wineries.
Further openings are planned in the Americas, including properties in Savannah, Georgia and Mendoza, Argentina, as the brand continues to expand its collection of independent hotels.
