Thailand Tourism Site Launch

As audiences eagerly await The White Lotus Season 3, travellers can begin to envision their adventure in Thailand. To celebrate the nation’s prominent role in the series, The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) New York Office has launched a dedicated microsite, thewhitelotus.thailandinsider.com. This platform offers a virtual exploration of the locations featured in the show—Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok. This initiative showcases popular attractions and activities and reveals hidden gems and unique cultural and culinary experiences that go beyond what viewers see on screen.

This platform encourages visitors to delve into Thailand’s diverse experiences by highlighting its 5 Must-Do activities: Must Taste, Must Try, Must Buy, Must-see, and Must-see. Our goal is to motivate travellers to fully engage with the country’s rich culture, cuisine, and natural beauty. Destinations like Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park near Koh Samui, the markets of Bangkok, and the coastline of Phuket are just a few examples of the varied attractions showcased on our microsite, offering an immersive virtual exploration.

The third season of HBO’s Emmy-winning original series THE WHITE LOTUS, created by Mike White, will premiere with eight episodes on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16, from 9:00 to 10:00 pm ET/PT on HBO and will also be available for streaming on Max.

We are thrilled to celebrate the release of The White Lotus Season 3 and our Amazing Thailand as the destination on February 16th, 2025,” said Chompu Marusachot, Director of the TAT New York Office.

“We are incredibly proud of this opportunity to share our diverse landscape, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality with a global audience.

Thanks to its culture, landscapes, beaches, cuisine, and hospitality, Thailand is fully equipped to attract travelling visitors. The worldwide popularity of The White Lotus is anticipated to enhance Thailand’s reputation as a leading location for film and TV production.
