Nitin Gohri Appointed as Director of Operations at The Westin Goa

The Westin Goa has announced the appointment of Nitin Gohri as Director of Operations. He brings over 15 years of experience across hospitality operations, sales strategy, event management, and business development. In his new role, he will oversee the hotel’s operational functions across departments.

Prior to this, Nitin was Director of Sales and Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott Navi Mumbai. His professional experience includes roles across organisations such as Marriott International and Indian Hotels Company Limited, with exposure to hotel operations, MICE, weddings, and revenue management.

He has previously been associated with The Westin Goa as Director of Sales, where he was involved in managing business across weddings, leisure, and MICE segments, along with sales planning and partnership development.

His past experience includes roles at Taj Lands End Mumbai and Taj Palace New Delhi, where he worked on convention sales, catering, and event management functions.

Nitin holds a degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM Jaipur and Indira Gandhi National Open University. He has also been involved in projects such as Green Meetings initiatives and event execution for platforms including the BRICS Summit, ASEAN Summit, Sunburn Festival, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

In his current role, he will be responsible for overseeing departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Engineering, and Recreation, and will work with the leadership team on operational processes and service delivery.
