Hotel MOTTO Appoints Daniela Kohoutek as General Manager

Hotel MOTTO has appointed Daniela Kohoutek as General Manager of its boutique property in Vienna.

Kohoutek brings over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. In her new role, she will oversee day-to-day operations, guest experience, commercial performance, and team development.

Prior to joining Hotel MOTTO, she served as Business Director at COOEE alpin Hotels, where she spent eight years contributing to operations, brand strategy, and commercial performance. She has also led refurbishment projects at Hotel Kummer and Hotel Alpha in Vienna, along with initiatives focused on improving hotel performance and guest satisfaction.

Earlier in her career, Kohoutek held senior roles with Best Western Central Europe, Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Hotel & Towers, Hotel Imperial Vienna, Hotel Bristol Vienna, and JA Jebel Ali Hotel & Golf Resort in Dubai.

Commenting on her appointment, Kohoutek said, “Hotel Motto uniquely combines Viennese hospitality, international flair and a strong design identity,” going on to say “I am very much looking forward to working with the team to continue the success story of the Hotel MOTTO, to further enhance the high quality and unique character of the hotel.”

Located in central Vienna, Hotel MOTTO is a boutique property recognised with a Michelin Key for 2025. The hotel features the CHEZ BERNARD restaurant and rooftop bar, MOTTO BROT organic bakery, wellness facilities, and a curated collection of contemporary art.

This appointment supports the hotel’s ongoing focus on operational excellence and guest experience.
