The Penang Table Serves Monsoon Ramen
The Penang Table Launches Malaysia-Inspired Ramen Menu
The Penang Table in Bandra, Mumbai, is serving its Monsoon Ramen Menu, a limited-time collection that combines the flavours of Malaysian cuisine with traditional Japanese ramen.
Available throughout the monsoon season, the menu brings together inspiration from Penang’s street food culture and Japanese ramen techniques, offering diners a selection of comforting dishes suited to the rainy weather.
Malaysian Flavours Meet Japanese Ramen
The menu features four signature ramen bowls, each blending ingredients and flavours from both culinary traditions.
Guests can choose from the Satay Dan Dan Men, prepared with peanut, sesame, lemongrass and kombu dashi, or the Pork Curry Ramen, which combines white miso, Penang curry, soy milk and pork belly.
Other options include the Kam Heong Sambal Mazesomen, inspired by Penang’s hawker cuisine, and the Hokkien Prawn Tonkotsu, featuring Japanese-style broth paired with Penang-style prawn flavours.
Starters to Complement the Menu
Alongside the ramen selection, diners can also enjoy starters such as Lamb Rendang Gyoza, Cereal Prawns, and Avocado Discs, each offering Malaysian-inspired flavours with Japanese influences.
The seasonal menu is available all day at The Penang Table in Bandra, offering a warm dining option for guests looking to enjoy a fusion of Malaysian and Japanese cuisine during the monsoon.
