The Orchid Pune Appoints Rajesh Mehta as General Manager

The Orchid Pune has appointed Rajesh Mehta as General Manager. He brings over three decades of experience in the hospitality sector and will oversee hotel operations and business strategy.

Rajesh began his career with Hotel Clarks Varanasi and has since held leadership roles across multiple hospitality segments, including luxury hotels, business hotels, resorts, and heritage properties. His previous associations include Swosti Plaza, Ritz Plaza, Shiv Niwas Palace (part of HRH Group of Hotels), Golkonda Resorts & Spa, Ramee Guestline Hotels, Hotel Sea Princess, and Ira by Orchid Mumbai.

During his career, he has managed hotel operations, brand transitions, and commercial performance initiatives. At Ira by Orchid Mumbai, he was involved in the property’s transition and reclassification process. Prior to his current role, he served as General Manager at Ira by Orchid Mumbai before moving within the Kamat Group of Hotels to lead The Orchid Pune.

The hotel features 386 rooms and extensive banquet and event spaces, catering to corporate events, MICE, weddings, and leisure stays.

In his new role, Rajesh will focus on operations, guest experience, and business development across these segments.
