The Oberoi Group Opens The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace in Khajuraho
The Oberoi Group has announced the opening of The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho, a restored 350-year-old palace set within a 76-acre estate that includes a natural lake. Built by Maharaja Hindu Pat of the Bundela Dynasty, the palace stands on the slopes of the Maniyagarh Hills, surrounded by Sal and Palash forests with views of the Vindhyachal mountain ranges.
Its location places guests within close proximity to Panna National Park & Tiger Reserve and a short drive from the UNESCO World Heritage temples of Khajuraho, offering access to both heritage and nature.

Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman, The Oberoi Group, noted that the restoration focused on maintaining the architectural character of the Bundela monument while incorporating contemporary comforts with care and respect for its historical context.
Estate Features and Accommodations
The estate includes 65 rooms and suites, including Palace Suites, private pool villas, and accommodations with gardens and terraces overlooking the surrounding landscape. Options range from the Kohinoor Suite with two bedrooms and a private pool to Palace Rooms with panoramic views of the hills, forests and lake.

Maanya – Offers traditional recipes in an indoor–outdoor setting overlooking the hills, open for dinner.
Neerangan – Located by the lake, serves Indian and international cuisines throughout the day with evening entertainment.

The palace includes banquet facilities for gatherings of up to 200 guests, with 440 sq. m. of indoor space and 518 sq. m. of outdoor areas.
