Positioned against views of the Churdaar peaks, Storii Akanni Naina Tikkar has been developed as an intimate getaway that brings together local design, natural surroundings, and personalised hospitality. The property includes well-appointed rooms and suites, open-air dining areas, a K by Kaya Kalp Spa, and outdoor activities such as forest trails, yoga sessions, and starlit barbecues.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said, “Storii is a celebration of places with a soul, places that beckon with their beauty, their stories, and their charm. We are pleased to bring our hospitality to this destination. Storii Akanni Naina Tikkar is planned to reflect the serenity of the mountains and the cultural warmth of the region, offering experiences that are personal and rooted in the soil.”

Alisha Gupta, Owner of Storii Akanni Naina Tikkar, added, “Akanni is a dream we have worked on for four years, and it is a joy to open its doors. The name means ‘a place that brings joy,’ which reflects its character. Surrounded by mountain landscapes and fresh air, every space has been created to blend comfort and tranquillity. Akanni is more than a hotel; it represents our vision, and we are happy to share it with guests.”

Accommodation options include Deluxe, Superior, and Premium Rooms, along with suites featuring valley views. Dining venues include Cedar Spoon and Pegs & Tales, with menus inspired by local ingredients. The hotel also offers an outdoor infinity pool and a salon.

Located in Majhgaon Shamlati, the property is about 90 minutes from Chandigarh Airport and is close to attractions such as the Naina Devi Temple, Dagshai, and Menri Monastery. The opening strengthens ITC Hotels’ efforts to build boutique experiences under the Storii brand that highlight nature, culture, and craftsmanship across scenic destinations in India.
