Mayank Sangal Elevated to Director of Sales- Celebrations at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has elevated Mayank Sangal to the position of Director of Sales- Celebrations, following over four years with the organization.

Based in Delhi, Sangal most recently served as Associate Director of Sales and Senior Sales Account Manager at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi. In this role, he was responsible for driving business across weddings, celebrations, and large-scale events, while managing strategic sales planning, client relationships, and team coordination.

During his tenure, he contributed to strengthening the property’s presence in the events and celebrations segment, supporting overall commercial performance.

Prior to joining The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, Sangal worked with Kempinski Hotels and Shangri-La Group in hospitality and restaurant management roles. His experience includes exposure to luxury hospitality operations, event sales, guest engagement, and business development.

In his new role as Director of Sales, he will focus on advancing sales strategies, strengthening client partnerships, and supporting growth across the brand’s events and celebrations portfolio.

The elevation reflects the company’s focus on internal talent development and strengthening its commercial leadership across the luxury hospitality segment.
