APPOINTMENTS

The Fern Hotels & Resorts & Series by Marriott has announced six new appointments in managerial roles across its properties in Bengaluru, Chikmagalur, Jim Corbett, Kolkata, Vijayapura, and New Delhi.

Rajdeep Singha- Appointed as General Manager at The Fern Residency Bengaluru,

Rajdeep Singha

 

Rajdeep Singha has been appointed as the new General Manager at The Fern Residency Bengaluru, Seshadripuram. He brings 23 years of experience in operational leadership across leading hospitality brands. In his new role, he will oversee hotel operations and planning, ensuring easy functioning across departments.

Rajdeep brings with him expertise in budgets & revenue management and operational leadership. Prior to this appointment, he was associated with Aloft Whitefield (Starwood Hotels & Resorts) and Lemon Tree Hotels & Resorts, where he played key roles in enhancing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

 

Jayant John- Appointed as General Manager at UG The Fern Resort & Spa Chikmagalur

Jayant John

Jayant John has been appointed as the new General Manager at UG The Fern Resort & Spa Chikmagalur. He brings over 27 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

In his new role, Jayant is responsible for spearheading the resort’s pre-opening activities, overall operations, guest experience, profitability, strategic planning and the implementation of brand standards while guiding high-performing teams.

He has been a part of renowned hospitality brands including Sterling Hotels & Resorts, Le Meridien and Grand Hyatt etc. Jayant holds expertise in pre-opening project management, operational excellence, revenue optimization and guest experience enhancement.

Shiv Kumar- Appointed as General Manager at Debu’s The Fern Resort & Spa Jim Corbett, Series by Marriott

With 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Shiv Kumar joins as the General Manager of Debu’s The Fern Resort & Spa Jim Corbett, Series by Marriott. His career includes leadership roles with renowned hospitality brands such as The Claridges, IHG and ITC etc.

He holds expertise in F&B operations, guest service enhancement, sales management, brand standard implementation and team leadership. In his new role as General Manager, he is responsible for strategic planning, elevating guest satisfaction and driving the growth and operational success of the property.

 

Gaurav Goswami- Appointed as General Manager at The Fern Residency Kolkata

Gaurav Goswami

Gaurav Goswami has been appointed as the new General Manager at The Fern Residency Kolkata. He holds over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including nine years as a general manager,.

He brings expertise in Front Office operations, Administration and Revenue Management, and team leadership. Prior to joining The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Gaurav served at the Al Nahda Group in Oman.

Gaurav has also been awarded with industry accolades including East India’s Best General Manager – 2024 and featured among the Top 30 General Managers in India.

 

Naushad Ansari- Appointed as Operations Manager at The Fern Residency Vijayapura

Naushad Ansari

Naushad Ansari has been appointed as the new Operations Manager at The Fern Residency Vijayapura. He brings over 18 years of hospitality experience and expertise in Rooms Division and Revenue Management.

In his new role, Naushad will oversee hotel operations, enhance guest satisfaction and lead strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and service excellence. He has previously held key leadership roles at Hotel Anand International, Bodhgaya and Hotel Temple Tree, Shirdi.

 

Himmat Shekhawat- Appointed as General Manager at Nanak Niwas Beacon New Delhi, Paharganj

Himmat Shekhawat

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Himmat Shekhawat has been appointed as the General Manager of Nanak Niwas Beacon New Delhi, Paharganj.

In this leadership role, he is responsible for hotel operations, budget management and achievement of gross operating profit while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

Himmat holds expertise in service excellence and operational efficiency. He has been associated with leading hospitality brands such as Hyatt Hotels and Sarovar Hotels & Resorts across multiple locations.
