SpiceJet Adds Two Boeing 737 Aircraft to Its Fleet
SpiceJet has inducted two Boeing 737 aircraft into its fleet, adding capacity across select domestic and international routes.
Both aircraft have completed the required regulatory processes and have entered commercial service. They began operations on November 26 and November 29, respectively, and are currently deployed on routes including Delhi–Bangkok, Ahmedabad–Dubai and Ahmedabad–Kolkata.
The inductions align with the airline’s focus on improving connectivity, supporting schedule reliability and addressing passenger demand during the peak travel period. With the additional aircraft, SpiceJet aims to offer more options and flexibility to travellers across its network.

Commenting on the development, Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet, said, “The induction of two Boeing 737 aircraft into our fleet is part of our ongoing efforts to expand capacity in a calibrated and responsible manner. Both aircraft are now in commercial service and will support our operations. We remain focused on providing reliable and efficient air travel while continuing to strengthen our network.”
The latest additions mark another step in SpiceJet’s fleet and network planning as it works to stabilise operations and support demand across key markets.
