Sapphero Hotels Signs New Resort in Alibaug and 48-Room Hotel Project Near Kevadiya

Sapphero Hotels has announced the signing of two new hospitality developments in Alibaug, Maharashtra, and near Kevadiya, Gujarat, as part of its expansion strategy across Western India. Both projects are currently under development and are expected to become operational in 2027.
The Alibaug property will be located near Varsoli Beach and is planned as a resort catering to leisure and corporate travelers. The development will offer accommodation, an all-day dining restaurant, recreational facilities, landscaped outdoor areas, and spaces for corporate retreats, social events, and destination celebrations.
Alibaug has witnessed growing interest from domestic travelers due to its proximity to Mumbai and Pune, along with improving connectivity and increasing demand for short-stay leisure destinations.
In Gujarat, Sapphero Hotels has signed a 48-room hospitality project near Kevadiya. The development will include hotel rooms and private villas designed to serve families, leisure travelers, corporate groups, and event-related visitors. The property is expected to support the region’s growing tourism and hospitality requirements.
Kevadiya has emerged as a prominent tourism destination in recent years, supported by the popularity of the Statue of Unity and ongoing infrastructure development in the surrounding area.
According to the company, the two projects are intended to strengthen its presence in Maharashtra and Gujarat while expanding its portfolio of business and leisure-focused hospitality assets.

Shamitav Jana, Chief Executive Officer of Sapphero Hotels, said, “Alibaug and Kevadiya continue to witness strong growth as preferred destinations for leisure and corporate travelers. These signings reflect our commitment to expanding in high-potential markets and strengthening our presence across Maharashtra and Gujarat. We are excited to bring the Sapphero hospitality experience to both destinations with properties that combine comfort, convenience, and strong local appeal.”
With the addition of the Alibaug resort and the Kevadiya hotel and villa project, Sapphero Hotels is expanding its footprint across two tourism markets in Western India. Both developments are expected to contribute to the hospitality infrastructure of their respective destinations upon completion in 2027.
