Qatar Airways Resumes Flights to Iraq
Iraq Routes Return as Qatar Airways Expands Network
Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of passenger flights to key destinations in Iraq, with services to Baghdad, Basra and Erbil scheduled to restart from 10 May 2026.
Alongside passenger operations, the airline will also reintroduce freighter services to Baghdad from 7 May 2026. These cargo flights, currently available for booking, will operate one-way from Doha to Baghdad, supporting the movement of goods between the two markets.
The Iraq relaunch follows recent announcements confirming the return of daily passenger services to Dubai and Sharjah, as well as routes to Bahrain, Damascus and Kozhikode.
As part of its phased network restoration, Qatar Airways plans to expand its schedule to more than 150 destinations worldwide from 16 June 2026.

Passengers are advised to check the airline’s official website or mobile app for the latest updates and to ensure their contact details are accurate. Flight schedules may change depending on operational or regulatory conditions.
