Qatar Airways and IHG Hotels & Resorts Announce Partnership for Corporate Travel Rewards
Qatar Airways has partnered with IHG Hotels & Resorts to enhance business travel initiatives within its corporate travel programs. This collaboration between Qatar Airways’ Beyond Business and IHG Business Edge will offer members integrated loyalty benefits, including the ability to earn and redeem points across IHG’s global network.
Beyond Business offers several benefits for corporate travellers, such as earning and redeeming Qrewards, Privilege Club tier options, priority baggage, and the ability to offset carbon emissions for past and future flights through the airline’s voluntary carbon offset programme. The programme also provides customised solutions for companies seeking to optimise savings based on travel spend.
Through the partnership, members can now access additional rewards when enrolling in IHG Business Edge at no cost. After completing their first qualifying stay, members receive an upgrade to IHG One Rewards Gold Elite Status, access to discounted rates at more than 6,800 IHG hotels worldwide, and 40% more points on every eligible stay.
IHG Business Edge, operating since 2018, supports small and medium-sized enterprises with simplified booking tools, exclusive rates, and loyalty benefits. Members of IHG Business Edge who join Qatar Airways’ Beyond Business programme will receive 50,000 bonus Qrewards after their first flight, which can be redeemed for flights, upgrades, and other rewards.
