Pounda Resort Paros Brings Beachfront Stay to the Cyclades

Pounda Resort Paros, a member of Radisson Individuals, has opened in Paros following a renovation, bringing the brand to one of Greece’s popular island destinations. The 94-room beachfront resort is located in Pounda on the island’s western coast, just moments from the ferry connection to Antiparos.

The opening comes as Paros continues to attract international visitors seeking beach holidays, water sports and island-hopping experiences. Positioned directly by the sea, the resort offers convenient access to Parikia, Antiparos and several cultural and natural attractions across the Cyclades.

Joep Peeters, Chief Operating Officer Franchise EMEA at Radisson Hotel Group, said the addition of Pounda Resort Paros reflects the Radisson Individuals brand’s focus on distinctive hotels that reflect the character of their destinations.

Located around 10 minutes from the ferry port, the resort serves as a base for exploring both Paros and Antiparos. Nearby attractions include the Pounda Kitesurf Club, known for its kiteboarding conditions; Panagia Ekatontapiliani in Parikia; the Archaeological Museum of Paros; the Sanctuary of Delion; and the island of Despotiko, home to an ancient sanctuary dedicated to Apollo.

The resort features 94 guest rooms and suites designed with a contemporary Greek style, incorporating white tones, natural materials and warm wood finishes. Inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of Paros, the interiors combine Mediterranean simplicity with modern comfort.

Several rooms offer sea views or direct access to the beachfront surroundings. Family rooms with bunk beds are also available, catering to families looking for a comfortable island stay close to the beach and leisure facilities.

Dining options include a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine prepared with Greek ingredients and seasonal produce. The menu highlights local flavours and traditional culinary influences from the region.

Guests can also enjoy refreshments at the pool bar, located close to the shoreline. The area provides a relaxed setting for unwinding after a day spent exploring the islands or enjoying the beach.

Leisure facilities are centred around a 200-square-metre outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas. Positioned near the waterfront, the pool area offers open sea views and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day.
