New General Manager at Hilton Cancun Resort

Hilton Hotels has announced Felix Schlokat’s appointment as the new general manager of Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort.

Felix first joined Hilton in February 2022 where he was appointed as the hotel manager for Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya, and shifted to Hilton Cancun in September 2024. He has also worked as a cluster general manager at Hard Rock International, resort manager and general manager at Nobu Hospitality, task force general manager and hotel manager at Melia Hotels International, resident manager and hotel manager at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, and various other positions at The Travel Department, Cape Invest, Strock Brot, Lowenbrau Keller.

Schlokat’s educational portfolio holds prestigious names like Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences, Universidad del Caribe, and Cornell University. With such an extensive CV, Schlokat’s expertise will drive the hotel to new heights.

In his own words, Schlokat is a “competent hospitality management professional” with cross-functional expertise in hotel and restaurant operations, extensive supervisory knowledge of quality assurance in the area of safety, cleanliness, food and service procedures with continuous process development in housekeeping, front desk, and the field of customer service. He has worked in various countries like Austria, Australia, Ireland, South Africa, Mexico, and Jamaica.
