Oaks Hotels Signs First Property in Saudi Arabia

Minor Hotels Expands Middle East Presence with Signing of Oaks Residences Riyadh

Minor Hotels has announced the signing of Oaks Residences Riyadh, marking the brand’s first property in Saudi Arabia. The agreement, signed in partnership with Tabarak Holding, also includes upcoming projects in Cairo, Egypt, under the NH Collection brand.

The signing took place during the TOURISE Summit, organised by the Saudi Ministry of Tourism, and was attended by Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels and Group CEO of Minor International, and Mr. Aly El Shorbany, Chairman of Tabarak Holding.

Located in the heart of Riyadh, Oaks Residences Riyadh will offer 146 serviced residences designed for extended stays, along with amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness centre, and retail and leisure spaces. The property is an immediate conversion project and is expected to open in 2026.

As part of the same agreement, Minor Hotels and Tabarak Holding will introduce the NH Collection brand to Egypt, with two new properties planned to open in 2029.

These developments form part of Minor Hotels’ broader strategy to expand its portfolio across the Middle East and Africa, which currently spans fourteen countries.
