New Housekeeping Director Appointed at Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah

APPOINTMENT

Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah has appointed Swati Kumari as its new Housekeeping Director.

In her new role, Kumari will oversee housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas, with a focus on maintaining service standards, operational efficiency, and guest comfort. Her responsibilities include team leadership, quality control, inventory management, and coordination with other hotel departments to ensure a consistent guest experience.

Prior to joining Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah, Kumari served as Assistant Director of Housekeeping at Katara Towers. In this role, she led a team of over 150 colleagues and was responsible for housekeeping operations for nearly 500 keys, including both rooms and public areas. Her tenure involved implementing operational standards and managing large-scale housekeeping teams in a high-profile luxury environment.

Kumari began her career with The Oberoi Group, where she progressed from a housekeeping attendant to leadership positions. During this time, she gained hands-on experience in luxury room standards, staff training and development, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination.

Her appointment has been welcomed by the hotel’s general manager, Sherif Kasseb, who expressed pride in adding her expertise to the leadership team at Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah.
