Nature Trails Expands Portfolio in Rishikesh with Launch of 5th Resort
Nature Trails, the experiential hospitality brand of Thomas Cook (India) Limited, has expanded its presence with the launch of its fifth resort, Nature Trails Rishikesh, located in Uttarakhand.

The new property adds to the brand’s existing resorts at Durshet, Sajan, and Kundalika in Maharashtra, and Rock Valley in Goa. Situated between Rishikesh and Haridwar, the resort is positioned to cater to travelers interested in both spiritual travel and outdoor activities.

Spread across approximately four acres in the Chilla region, near the entrance to Rajaji National Park, Nature Trails Rishikesh features 29 rooms, each with private balconies and sit-out areas. The property is surrounded by landscaped lawns and open spaces, designed to offer guests access to outdoor environments and seasonal Himalayan weather conditions.

The resort’s location allows guests to explore nearby spiritual landmarks such as Laxman Jhula, Tapovan, and the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. At the same time, visitors can access nature- and adventure-based activities including wildlife safaris in Rajaji National Park, riverside walks, white-water rafting, guided nature walks, and other outdoor experiences. On-site amenities include open recreational areas, a swimming pool, and dining options featuring local Garhwali cuisine alongside familiar regional dishes from across India.

Nature Trails Rishikesh is accessible by road, rail, and air. It is connected via National Highways 7 and 34, with bus and taxi services available from Delhi, Haridwar, and Dehradun. The resort is located approximately 20 kilometres from Haridwar railway station and around 40 kilometres from Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport, making it suitable for families, couples, spiritual travelers, adventure-focused guests, group retreats, and corporate off-site gatherings.
Mahesh Iyer – Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Cook (India) Limited said, “India’s domestic experiential travel is witnessing strong momentum, with travellers across age groups seeking immersive experiences that combine rest & relaxation, adventure, gastronomy and spirituality.
Now with this launch of our 5th Nature Trails resort at Rishikesh, we are creating an attractive offering to travellers seeking to combine adventure and spiritual tourism through curated, locally rooted, authentic experiences.
Since acquiring Nature Trails last year, we have embarked on an aggressive expansion strategy to leverage the massive opportunity in domestic tourism. This launch at Rishikesh follows on the heels of our resort in Ponda, Goa that we launched just last week. We have a strong growth pipeline in place and plan to expand the Nature Trails portfolio further in the weeks and months ahead, ” he added.
