Minor Hotels Signs NH Collection Accra, Marking Entry into West Africa
Minor Hotels has announced the signing of NH Collection Accra, marking the debut of the NH Collection brand in Ghana. Scheduled to open in 2030, the hotel represents Minor Hotels’ entry into the West African market. The agreement was formalized during THINC Middle East 2026, reflecting the group’s ongoing focus on expanding its presence across key gateway cities in Africa.
The 200-key hotel will be located in central Accra, Ghana’s capital and primary commercial centre. Positioned near Jubilee House and within convenient reach of Kotoka International Airport, the property will offer access to government institutions, corporate offices, and diplomatic missions, supporting demand from business, diplomatic, and long-stay travellers.

NH Collection Accra will form part of a mixed-use development by Swami India Ghana Limited. The project will integrate hotel, retail, and office components, designed to create a well-connected urban destination that aligns with Accra’s ongoing commercial development and international engagement.
Commenting on the signing, Amir Golbarg, Chief Operations Officer – Middle East & Africa, Minor Hotels, said: “We are pleased to introduce the NH Collection brand to Ghana and to begin our journey in West Africa. We look forward to collaborating with Swami India Ghana Limited to deliver a project that responds to the needs of Accra’s growing business and international travel segments.”
Mr. Dinesh G. Gorasiya, Chairman of Swami India Ghana Limited, added: “The signing of NH Collection Accra represents an important step in our development plans in Ghana. Partnering with Minor Hotels allows us to bring an internationally recognised hospitality brand to Accra, aligned with our focus on quality, responsible development, and long-term value creation for the city.”
With this signing, Minor Hotels continues to expand its African portfolio, adding Ghana to its growing network of destinations across the region.
