Minor Hotels Announces First Signing Under Minor Reserve Collection in Brazil

Minor Hotels has announced the signing of its first property under the Minor Reserve Collection brand. Scheduled to launch in 2028, Aventora Resort Baía Formosa, Minor Reserve Collection will be located in Rio Grande do Norte, northeastern Brazil, a region known for its eco-tourism potential.

Introduced in 2024, Minor Reserve Collection is positioned as a luxury soft brand designed for travellers seeking stays shaped by personal expression and destination character. Each property within the collection is intended to reflect its setting through tailored design, curated experiences, and attention to detail rooted in the local context.

Owned by Gremi International Group, Aventora Resort Baía Formosa will be a new-build development in the coastal town of Baía Formosa. The resort will feature 50 guest rooms and 28 branded residences, offering ownership opportunities alongside hotel accommodation.

The property’s facilities will include all-day dining and speciality restaurants, a pool bar and grill, and a lobby lounge. Wellness and recreation offerings are planned to include a fitness centre, an exercise studio, a spa, a Kids’ Club, and a curated library. Guests will also have access to nearby outdoor activities, including kite surfing, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and mangrove kayaking.

The resort will be located near several natural attractions in Rio Grande do Norte, including the Genipabu dunes near Natal, Baía dos Golfinhos (Dolphin Bay), and Pipa Beach, known for its Atlantic Forest landscape, cliffs, and marine life. The state capital, Natal, offers additional access to coastal and protected natural environments.

Aventora Resort Baía Formosa will be accessible from Governador Aluízio Alves International Airport in Natal and João Pessoa International Airport, each approximately 60 minutes away by road.
