Australian Content Creator Luana Ostling Visits Sri Lanka on 10-Day Tourism Promotion Tour

Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau has welcomed Australian content creator Luana Ostling to the island as part of a focused initiative to encourage international travel and present Sri Lanka as a safe and accessible destination for global visitors.

Luana Ostling, an award-winning journalist and digital creator based in Australia, works across luxury travel, fashion, wellness, and lifestyle. She reaches an international audience of more than one million followers, generating over four million monthly views through travel-led storytelling and destination-focused content.

During her 10-day visit from 26 December to 4 January, Luana is travelling across key destinations including Negombo, Nuwara Eliya, Yala, Mirissa, Weligama, Galle, and Colombo. The itinerary highlights Sri Lanka’s varied landscapes, wildlife, coastal regions, and cultural centres.

The journey is structured to present Sri Lanka as a destination suited for multiple travel segments, including couples and honeymoon travellers, wildlife enthusiasts, whale-watching visitors, and travellers seeking premium experiences at competitive value. It also emphasises Sri Lanka’s cultural heritage and its recovery and readiness to welcome international travellers.

The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau has organised the tour with support from hospitality partners, including Jetwing Hotels, KK Collection, Marriott Hotels, and Cinnamon Life City of Dreams. The collaboration aims to strengthen destination awareness and rebuild traveller confidence ahead of 2026.

Through on-ground experiences and digital content, Luana’s visit is expected to reach audiences across Australia, the UK, and other international markets. Her coverage will focus on landscapes, accommodation, local culture, and everyday travel experiences across the island.

The initiative forms part of Sri Lanka Tourism’s broader efforts to position the country as a diverse, reliable, and welcoming destination for future travel seasons.
