ibis Mumbai Airport Appoints Mahzarine Baria as Director of Guest Service

ibis Mumbai Airport has appointed Mahzarine Baria as Director of Guest Service, marking a key milestone in her career within the Accor group.
In her new role, Baria will oversee guest service operations, guest relations, frontline teams, and service delivery initiatives, with a focus on enhancing guest experience and operational performance at the hotel.

Baria began her hospitality career in 2013 as a Guest Service Associate with the pre-opening team at Novotel Pune. Over the years, she has progressed through multiple operational and leadership roles within Accor, building experience in guest services and front office management.

Her career includes roles such as Team Leader, Duty Manager, and Guest Experience Manager at properties in Pune, followed by positions at the Novotel ibis Chennai OMR complex. She later advanced to Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office Manager at Novotel Chennai SIPCOT.
Prior to this appointment, she served as Front Office Manager at ibis Mumbai Airport, gaining familiarity with the property’s operations and guest expectations.
Baria holds a Bachelor of Hospitality degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
Her appointment reflects ibis Mumbai Airport’s focus on strengthening operational leadership, recognising internal talent, and enhancing guest experience across the property.
