Jazeera Airways Restarts India–Kuwait Connectivity via Saudi Arabia
Flights from eight Indian cities operate through Qaisumah Airport under special arrangement
Jazeera Airways has resumed passenger connectivity between India and Kuwait, operating flights from eight Indian cities—Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
The flights are being routed via Qaisumah Airport (AQI) in Hafar Al Batin, Saudi Arabia, as part of arrangements under Project Vande Bharat. The move comes at a time when direct access to Kuwait remains restricted due to ongoing regional airspace closures and the temporary suspension of operations at Kuwait International Airport.
Passengers travelling from India arrive at Qaisumah Airport, where they are transferred to Kuwait by road through coordinated bus services. Travellers departing from Kuwait follow the same route in reverse, ensuring continuity of movement between the two countries.

At present, Jazeera Airways is operating these services to maintain connectivity for passengers who need to travel between India and Kuwait under the current conditions.
In addition to these services, the airline continues to operate flights from Kuwait to destinations such as Alexandria, Assiut, Cairo, Luxor, Amman, Istanbul, Colombo, and Al Ain.
Passengers planning to travel to Kuwait must hold a valid residency status. Bookings can be made through the airline’s official website or mobile application, where schedules and availability are updated regularly.
The airline is expected to adjust frequencies and add destinations based on operational requirements in the coming weeks.
