New Storii Property Expands Presence in Shekhawati Heritage Region
ITC Hotels Limited has added a new property to its Storii portfolio with the signing of Storii by ITC Hotels, Mukundgarh Fort in Rajasthan. Located in the Shekhawati region, the development aligns with the brand’s focus on offering experiences rooted in local culture and heritage.
Mukundgarh Fort, a mid-18th century structure, reflects the architectural and artistic traditions of Rajasthan. The region is known for its frescoes, havelis and historic townscapes. The fort features painted interiors, courtyards, balconies, arched corridors and traditional design elements that have been retained over time.
The property is situated along the heritage route connecting Jaipur, Mandawa and Nawalgarh, a corridor frequented by travellers interested in regional history, art and architecture.

Commenting on the development, Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said the Storii brand focuses on experiences shaped by local identity and culture. He noted that Mukundgarh offers a setting that reflects these elements, and that the property will provide guests with a stay that is connected to the region’s heritage.
Durga Prasad Agarwal, Director, Midas Hospitality Services Private Limited, said the association aims to present Mukundgarh’s cultural character through its art, architecture and traditions, while preserving its historical essence.
With this addition, ITC Hotels continues to expand its Storii portfolio with properties that highlight regional narratives and heritage-led travel experiences.
