ITC Hotels Opens Fortune Airport Road Kochi
ITC Hotels Limited has launched a new hotel on Fortune Airport Road in Kochi, enhancing its presence in Kerala and expanding the Fortune brand in South India. With this opening, Fortune now operates 15 hotels throughout the southern region, targeting both business and leisure travellers.
Located near Cochin International Airport, the new hotel offers 72 rooms and suites. Its location provides convenient access to the airport corridor, while also serving guests who stay for more extended periods. This launch reflects a broader industry trend of hotel operators investing in properties near high-traffic travel hubs to serve transit and corporate guests.
Anil Chadha, MD, ITC Hotels Limited said, “We are delighted to unveil Fortune Airport Road Kochi, a strategic landmark of the culturally rich cosmopolitan Kerala, that embodies both modernity and tradition reflecting a harmonious blend of heritage and progress. A significant addition to our growing footprint in the Southern region, this hotel is aptly positioned to meet the requirements of contemporary travellers and will cater to the growing demand for quality hotels in the city, particularly in the rapidly evolving airport corridor.”
Sameer Pookuzhi, MD of Zenha Lifestyle Pvt Ltd added, “It is a matter of immense pride to collaborate with ITCHL and Fortune Hotels in bringing this new landmark to Kochi. Our vision was to create a space that combines modern comfort with the local character, making it equally welcoming for business travellers, families, and leisure guests alike. We are confident that this property will become a preferred address for travellers seeking memorable stays in Kochi.”
The property features multiple dining options, including Zodiac, an all-day restaurant serving global cuisine; Fortune Deli, which offers baked goods and light snacks; and Nakshatra, a rooftop restaurant planned to feature an interactive dining concept with stunning city views. Business facilities include conference rooms, boardrooms, and flexible banquet spaces, reflecting demand for business-friendly venues in Kochi.

For recreation, the hotel offers a rooftop pool, a fitness centre, and a planned spa, combining business and leisure amenities to attract a broad range of guests.
Kochi, often referred to as the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea,’ continues to expand as a market for travel and retail. ITC Hotels’ expansion reflects its strategy of positioning Fortune properties in urban centres that combine cultural significance with commercial opportunity.
