ITC Grand Central, Mumbai to Celebrate Republic Day with Special Culinary Programme
ITC Grand Central, Mumbai will mark Republic Day with a series of planned activities, beginning with a flag unfurling ceremony scheduled for the early morning of 26 January. The ceremony will bring together in-house guests and hotel associates, setting the tone for a day focused on national pride and togetherness.

As part of the celebrations, the hotel will host a Republic Day–themed dining experience at Hornby’s Pavilion. The specially curated menu is designed to reflect India’s regional diversity, bringing together dishes inspired by different parts of the country using traditional recipes and cooking techniques.
The planned spread includes a tandoori salad selection featuring char-grilled vegetables, along with a chaat counter offering popular Indian snacks. From North India, the menu will feature dishes such as paneer kurchan, chole, and gosht dum biryani. Maharashtrian preparations like masala bhaat and batata chi bhaji will represent regional flavours, while Goan fish curry will highlight coastal cuisine.
Desserts on the menu will include Indian classics such as phirni and malpua served with rabri.
Through the combination of the ceremonial observance and the themed culinary offering, ITC Grand Central, Mumbai aims to commemorate Republic Day by highlighting Indian traditions and culinary diversity.
