IHG to Open Hotel Indigo New Cairo in Partnership with Jadeer Group
IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a management agreement with Jadeer Group to establish a new Hotel Indigo property in New Cairo. This agreement enhances IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in Northern Africa and adds another hotel to its presence in Egypt.
The 120-room Hotel Indigo New Cairo is planned to open in 2031 as part of Red (G), a mixed-use development that includes residences, retail, and hospitality. Located on North 90 Street, one of New Cairo’s key neighbourhoods, the hotel will be close to the New Administrative Capital, the American University in Cairo, and emerging business and leisure areas.
As part of IHG’s lifestyle collection, Hotel Indigo properties are designed to reflect the character of their local surroundings. Hotel Indigo New Cairo will incorporate elements of the neighbourhood’s heritage and contemporary features into its design and guest experience.

Jadeer Group is active in Egypt’s real estate sector and has developed multiple projects over the past 19 years. IHG currently operates eight hotels in Egypt under the InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Staybridge Suites brands, with 22 hotels in the pipeline.
