IHG Signs Hotel Indigo Phuket Nai Yang Beach with AssetWise
IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has announced the signing of Hotel Indigo Phuket Nai Yang Beach, in partnership with AssetWise Public Company Limited and its subsidiary Rhom Bho Property Public Company Limited. The project marks another step in IHG’s ongoing expansion in Thailand.
Scheduled to open in 2030, the 170-key hotel will add to Hotel Indigo’s global portfolio, which continues to grow across key destinations worldwide. The signing also reflects IHG’s focus on expanding its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio across South East Asia and Korea.
The agreement further builds on the partnership between IHG and AssetWise, extending their collaboration in Phuket to two projects. Hotel Indigo Phuket Nai Yang Beach will join voco Phuket Bangtao, which is currently under design and construction.

Commenting on the signing, Shi’ai Liang, Senior Director, Development, South East Asia & Korea, IHG, said the agreement strengthens the company’s relationship with AssetWise and supports IHG’s continued growth in Phuket. IHG’s portfolio on the island includes a mix of open and pipeline hotels across several brands, with additional openings planned in the coming years. He also noted the steady recovery of Phuket’s tourism sector, supported by improved international air connectivity and the destination’s appeal for nature, wellness, culture and cuisine.

Paneeta Malaivongs, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, AssetWise, said the company is pleased to extend its partnership with IHG across two hotel brands in Phuket. She added that Hotel Indigo aligns well with Nai Yang Beach as a lifestyle destination, offering guests a stay experience shaped by the character and culture of the surrounding neighbourhood.
Hotel Indigo Phuket Nai Yang Beach will be located approximately five minutes from Phuket International Airport and around 45 minutes from Phuket Old Town. The hotel will be within walking distance of Nai Yang Beach and Sirinat National Park. Planned facilities include a restaurant and bar, a spa, and a gymnasium.
The new signing will join 37 other properties in IHG’s development pipeline in Thailand, supporting the group’s plans to expand its presence in the country to more than 80 hotels over the next three to five years.
