IHCL Signs Gateway Resort in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh
New project to expand IHCL’s presence in Himachal Pradesh
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new resort in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. The greenfield development will operate under the Gateway brand.
Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development at IHCL, said that Kasauli’s setting and accessibility from nearby cities make it a suitable destination for leisure travel. She added that the company is working in partnership with Vasuki Hospitality Private Limited on this project.
The upcoming Gateway Kasauli will feature 96 rooms and offer views of the surrounding hills. The property will include multiple dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, and a bar.
Facilities at the resort are expected to include a heated swimming pool, a fitness centre and a spa. The development will also feature banqueting spaces, including a venue of over 4,000 sq ft, designed to host social events, weddings and corporate gatherings.
Anshul Singla, Director of Vasuki Hospitality Private Limited, said the partnership marks the company’s entry into the hospitality sector. He noted that Kasauli continues to attract travellers and presents opportunities for further development.

Located in the foothills of the Shivalik range, Kasauli is known for its heritage and natural surroundings. The destination offers walking trails and points of interest, including Christ Church and the Gilbert Trail.
With this addition, IHCL will have a portfolio of 27 hotels in Himachal Pradesh, including 12 currently under development.
