Ginger Hyderabad Expands IHCL Presence in Genome Valley Corridor
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of Ginger Hyderabad, Genome Valley, strengthening the brand’s presence in Hyderabad’s life sciences and business corridor.
The new hotel features 75 rooms designed for business and corporate travellers, with facilities focused on convenience, accessibility, and contemporary hospitality requirements.
Located in Genome Valley, the property is positioned within one of Hyderabad’s established hubs for biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and research-driven industries. The area houses several domestic and international life sciences companies, manufacturing units, and research institutions.
The hotel also includes Qmin, Ginger’s dining brand, as well as meeting spaces for corporate discussions and small gatherings.

Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President – New Businesses & Hotel Openings, IHCL, said the midscale hospitality segment continues to see demand from corporate travellers seeking efficient, well-connected accommodation options.
She added that the opening of Ginger Hyderabad, Genome Valley, aligns with IHCL’s plans to expand the Ginger brand across important commercial and business locations.
S. P. Reddy, CMD, Terminus Group, said the opening marks the first project under a framework agreement to develop 10 Ginger hotels across southern India.
Hyderabad remains one of India’s major centres for the technology, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries, with Genome Valley continuing to attract research-, manufacturing-, and innovation-led businesses.
