Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya Appoints Ali Awada as Head Chef of Lï Beirut

Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya has appointed Ali Awada as Head Chef of its restaurant Lï Beirut.
Ali brings more than a decade of culinary experience in Kuwait and across the GCC region. Originally from Beirut, his early exposure to Lebanese cuisine was shaped by family cooking traditions, which have influenced his professional approach to food.
At Lï Beirut, Ali will oversee the restaurant’s culinary direction, focusing on Lebanese cuisine that reflects traditional influences alongside contemporary techniques. The restaurant, which opened in 2024, offers an all-day dining concept featuring an open kitchen, live music, and a menu centered on Levantine flavors.
Under his leadership, the menu will continue to feature Lebanese classics prepared with refined techniques and seasonal variations. The restaurant is also introducing rotating weekly dishes inspired by traditional home-style cooking, reflecting customary dining practices associated with Lebanese households.
Lï Beirut operates within Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and contributes to the broader dining portfolio of Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya. Awada’s appointment aligns with the property’s ongoing focus on developing its food and beverage offerings in Kuwait City.
Expressing his views, Ali said, “It was never only about the food. It was the feeling around the table, the warmth, the sharing, the care that went into every dish. That feeling stayed with me.
“Lebanese cuisine is about balance and simplicity. It’s rooted in the land and the seasons, but above all, in the spirit of sharing and bringing people together around the table.
“When guests place their trust in you, you must live up to it in everything that you do. For me, it is about creating moments where people feel connected, satisfied, and genuinely cared for. I want every guest to leave feeling as though they have experienced something deeply familiar, yet elevated in a meaningful way, ”he concludes.
