Hyatt Zilara Cancun Reopens Following Resort Renovation

Hyatt Zilara Cancun Introduces Updated Rooms and Dining Experiences

Hyatt Zilara Cancun has reopened following a complete renovation of the adults-only, all-inclusive resort located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone.

Situated between the Nichupte Lagoon and the Caribbean coastline, the updated resort introduces redesigned guest rooms, refreshed public spaces, new dining concepts and upgraded wellness facilities inspired by the natural surroundings of the Yucatán Peninsula.

Eduardo Rojas, General Manager of Hyatt Zilara Cancun, said the renovation was aimed at enhancing the guest experience while incorporating design elements connected to the destination’s local culture and landscape.

The property’s 310 suites have been redesigned with natural textures, locally inspired artwork, and warmer colour palettes that reflect the region’s environment. All rooms continue to offer views overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Public areas across the resort have also been updated, including improvements to beach and poolside facilities, shaded lounge areas, and redesigned guest spaces intended to create a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere.

The resort’s Zen Spa has reopened with updated wellness facilities, hydrotherapy experiences and treatment programmes using naturally sourced ingredients.

Dining and entertainment spaces have also been revised as part of the renovation. Hyatt Zilara Cancun now features updated concepts across its 12 restaurants and bars, including Bokeh, a reservation-only speakeasy-style venue inspired by 1920s design, and Casa Adelita, a dining experience focused on Yucatán cuisine.

A new waterfront Italian restaurant, Olio D’Olivia, has also been added, serving lunch and dinner with a menu centred on Italian dishes including handmade pasta and risotto.

The renovation forms part of Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s continued expansion and development strategy in the Cancun region, where the company has also introduced new properties and renovation projects in recent years.
