Hyatt Regency Pune Promotes Sakshi Upadhyay to Director of Sales

Hyatt Regency Pune & Residences has announced the promotion of Sakshi Upadhyay to Director of Sales. The elevation reflects her continued role in supporting business growth, corporate partnerships, and MICE segment development at the property.
With over 14 years of experience in the hospitality sector, Upadhyay brings expertise in corporate sales, events, travel partnerships, and revenue optimisation. Over the course of her career, she has been associated with multiple hotel brands, including Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, The Leela, Kempinski, and ITC Sheraton, where she has worked across sales strategy and client relationship management functions.

Prior to her promotion, she served as Associate Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency Pune Hotel & Residences. In this role, she was responsible for leading corporate sales strategies with a focus on MICE, long-stay business, and corporate account development. Her responsibilities included working with corporate travel managers and procurement teams to design solutions aligned with business requirements.
An MBA graduate from Symbiosis University, Upadhyay combines sales experience with operational understanding and team leadership. In her new role, she will continue to oversee sales initiatives, manage key partnerships, and support the hotel’s market positioning within the region.

The promotion aligns with the property’s focus on strengthening its sales leadership and expanding its presence across corporate and events-driven segments.
