Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa Appoints Ashim Ahluwalia as Front Office Manager

Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa has appointed Ashim Ahluwalia as Front Office Manager.

Ashim brings nearly eight years of experience within the Hyatt ecosystem, with a background in front office operations, guest services, and team management. In his new role, he will oversee front office operations, focusing on guest experience, operational efficiency, and team development.

A graduate of the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA), Manipal Academy of Higher Education, he began his career through Hyatt’s Corporate Leadership Training programme. His early assignments included roles at Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa and Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, where he gained experience in front office operations.

He has since held roles across several Hyatt properties, including Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, W Goa, and Alila Diwa Goa & The Diwa Club by Alila. His experience includes guest relations, loyalty programme initiatives, team training, and departmental management.

Most recently, he served as Front Office Manager at Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu, where he managed multiple operational departments. Prior to that, he was Assistant Front Office Manager at Alila Diwa Goa, overseeing operations at The Diwa Club by Alila.

Commenting on his appointment, Ashim Ahluwalia said, “The front office is often the first and last touchpoint of a guest’s journey, and that responsibility has always inspired me,”. “I am excited to join Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa and look forward to working alongside the team to create memorable experiences while continuing to elevate service standards across the resort.”
