APPOINTMENT
Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad has appointed Sonale Zagade as its new General Manager.
In this role, she will oversee overall hotel operations, with a focus on guest experience, team development, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Zagade brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, including 13 years with Hyatt. Prior to this appointment, she served as General Manager at Hyatt Regency Gurgaon. Her career with Hyatt includes leadership roles at Hyatt Regency Chennai, Hyatt Regency Mumbai, and Grand Hyatt Mumbai, where she was involved in managing large teams and maintaining brand standards across diverse operational environments.
At Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad, Zagade will be responsible for strengthening service delivery across rooms, food and beverage, and events, while positioning the hotel as a preferred destination for business and leisure travellers. Her mandate includes enhancing guest engagement through personalised service, developing curated dining and cultural initiatives in collaboration with local partners, and leveraging the hotel’s event and meeting facilities.
She will also focus on building a supportive workplace culture that encourages professional growth and consistency in service delivery. Alongside operational goals, her role includes driving responsible hospitality practices, balancing commercial objectives with environmental and community considerations.
