New Mercure Hotel Arrives in Palanga

Mercure has announced the opening of the Mercure Palanga Vanagupe Resort following an extensive renovation project. Set in charming Palanga, Lithuania's largest and most popular seaside resort, the 98-key hotel will offer easy access to the city’s beaches and dunes.
 
Since its founding in 1973, Mercure has been dedicated to unveiling the treasures surrounding each address, creating a truly local experience for guests. Through its “Discover Local” programme, Mercure ensures guests are immersed in a locally inspired atmosphere. The brand recently reached a historic milestone, surpassing 1,000 hotels worldwide.
Mercure Palanga Vanagupe Resort joins a growing portfolio of six Accor hotels in other key destinations in Lithuania, including Vilnius, Klaipeda, Kaunas, Marijampole, and more. The new hotel will be the country's third property under the Mercure brand.

Mercure Palanga Vanagupe Resort features 98 rooms and suites that harmonize with the natural surroundings. The hotel presents diverse dining options, including a restaurant offering locally inspired specialities for up to 165 guests, a charming lobby bar, an outdoor terrace, and a pool bar.
Guests at Mercure Palanga Vanagupe Resort can relax at the Golden SPA, which provides over 100 treatments ranging from massages to Thai and Ayurvedic therapies. The spa also includes access to saunas, aromatic steam baths, an ice room, jacuzzis, a jet massage pool, and the stunning Princess pool, crafted from white marble and tropical rain. Additional leisure facilities include an 18-metre outdoor summer pool, a children’s play area, a fitness centre, two outdoor tennis courts, a basketball court, and bicycle rentals.
 
Mercure Palanga Vanagupe Resort is Palanga’s most prominent hotel conference centre, featuring six versatile rooms suitable for events of all sizes – from intimate business meetings to conferences for up to 500 delegates. The hotel also provides ample parking space, electric vehicle charging stations, and an airport transfer service. Located close to Palanga’s vibrant city centre and only five kilometres from its international airport, the new hotel will stand out for its unmatched convenience while travelling locally or abroad.
