Holiday Inn Ratingen Launches in Germany

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has announced the signing of a new Holiday Inn in Ratingen, situated in the broader Düsseldorf area of Germany, in partnership with the multi-hotel operator Tristar GmbH. After a complete renovation, the hotel is scheduled to open in the latter half of 2025, expanding IHG’s presence in secondary markets across Germany while offering the distinctive warm welcome and consistent experiences associated with the Holiday Inn at this new location. This hotel represents a conversion of an existing property, showcasing Holiday Inn’s adaptability to changing market conditions.

Staying true to the Holiday Inn brand, leisure and business travellers can enjoy amenities designed for connection, work, and relaxation. These offerings feature a full-service restaurant with the well-loved ‘Kids Stay & Eat Free’ program, a bar, and five meeting rooms that accommodate social gatherings and corporate functions. The hotel will also embrace the brand’s distinctive Open Lobby concept, a design-focused environment that lets guests decide how to relax and engage.

The 134-room hotel in Ratingen is conveniently located near various attractions and business hubs. It is also just a short drive from Düsseldorf, Germany’s fashion capital, where guests can visit the famous Königsallee shopping boulevard, Düsseldorf Altstadt (Old Town), and the Kunstpalast art museum.
