New SeleQtions in Rajasthan
The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a SeleQtions hotel in Mandawa, Rajasthan. The Haveli has been restored as part of a conversion project to preserve its historical charm.
Commenting on the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President - Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “The growing interest in immersive travel experiences has fueled demand for heritage stays and cultural tourism. Mandawa, with its rich architectural legacy, serves as a convenient extension for travellers exploring the Delhi-Jaipur-Agra circuit. Originally constructed in the 1870s, the haveli explores Mandawa’s rich history. Its mural paintings from the 1890s showcase detailed portrayals of religious symbols, floral and geometric patterns, and scenes reflecting the time. Visitors can enjoy a range of dining options in the all-day dining area, bar, or rooftop restaurant. For leisure, amenities include a swimming pool, hammam, spa, and gym. The renovated IHCL SeleQtions Mandawa, featuring 17 keys, will expand to 35.

Mandawa, in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, is famous for its painted Havelis. It boasts the most extensive global collection of European-style frescoes, which attract international tourists. With this new hotel, IHCL will operate 28 hotels in Rajasthan, including six currently under development.
