Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Ginger hotel in Chakan, Maharashtra. This hotel aims to provide a premium experience to guests, reflecting the brand's signature "lean luxe" philosophy.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, stated, “Chakan’s position as a major industrial hub, along with its connectivity to Pune, Nashik, and Mumbai, is integral to IHCL’s strategy of expanding into key industrial and manufacturing areas across the country. We are delighted to partner with The Bhansali Landmark Group and The Hermes Group for this project.”

The 210-key Ginger Chakan Hotel is part of a mixed-use development and will offer a range of modern amenities. It will feature Ginger’s signature all-day dining restaurant, Qmin, and a bar that serves global cuisine along with local specialities. Additionally, the hotel will include a well-equipped gym and meeting spaces.

Chakan, situated on the northern edge of the Pune Metropolitan Region, is home to numerous multinational companies and plays a significant role in Maharashtra's industrial landscape, especially in the automobile and engineering sectors.
