Hyatt Announces Extension of Exclusivity Period with Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V.

Playa Hotels and Hyatt Continue Partnership

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has revealed an extension of its previously announced exclusivity agreement date with Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. Under this agreement, Playa is committed to negotiating exclusively with Hyatt on potential strategic options, including Hyatt’s acquisition of Playa. The exclusivity period now extends until February 10, 2025.

Playa currently owns and manages a total portfolio consisting of 24 resorts (8,627 rooms) under the following brands: Hyatt Zilara, Hyatt Ziva, Hilton All-Inclusive, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Wyndham Alltra, Seadust, Kimpton, Jewel Resorts, and The Luxury Collection.
