Tapestry Collection by Hilton Now Open in Asuncion

Hilton has announced the opening of the Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. This marks the company’s first hotel in Paraguay and the 10th addition to the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in the Caribbean and Latin America. Hilton plans to double its presence in the region, with 10 more hotels set to open over the next four years. The Tapestry Collection aims to provide guests with authentic experiences in destinations worth exploring.

As part of its aggressive growth strategy over the past decade in the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton is continuing to expand its reach by adding new countries and territories and launching new brands. By the end of 2024, Hilton will also introduce Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire to the Tapestry Collection, marking Hilton’s first hotel on the Caribbean island.

Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion, located in a historic building that dates back to 1901 and was originally the headquarters of the Superior Court of Justice, has been transformed into part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. This conversion reflects the essence of the Tapestry brand, which focuses on maintaining each hotel's unique character while incorporating Hilton's hospitality and additional guest benefits.

The hotel's recent renovation preserved its neoclassical architecture, incorporating elements of Spanish modernism while honouring its cultural heritage. At the same time, amenities were added to enhance the guest experience. Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion features 107 rooms, including two-floor suites and a presidential suite with two bedrooms and a balcony. Guests can also enjoy an interior courtyard, a fitness center, and a rooftop pool.

Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion offers a dining experience for both locals and visitors. For an authentic taste of Paraguay, the hotel features a steakhouse that combines traditional dishes made with local ingredients and popular international favourites. For business meetings or events, Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion provides two boardrooms, a conference room, and a large event room that connects to the interior courtyard.

Centrally located in the heart of downtown, Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion grants easy access to popular tourist attractions, including iconic landmarks such as Palacio López, the National Pantheon of Heroes, and Independence House. The hotel is situated just 19 kilometres (5.5 miles) from Silvio Pettirossi International Airport.
