Double Triumph for Anantara Hotels

Anantara Hotels & Resorts and The Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia Hotel by Anantara were recognized at the 18th edition of the Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards (ULTRAs) held in London on November 7, 2024. Anantara was awarded the title of Best Hotel Brand of the Last 20 Years, while The Royal Livingstone won the accolade for Best Hotel in Africa and the Indian Ocean.

Anantara Hotels & Resorts was honoured with two awards at the 18th edition of the Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards (ULTRAs), which were voted on by the 28 million members of the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty program. The awards ceremony took place at The State Apartments and The Orangery in Kensington Palace.

The ULTRAs (Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards) is an annual event celebrating excellence in global travel. Organized by Nick Perry, Chairman of the multi-media brand Ultratravel, this prestigious event is held in partnership with the Global Hotel Alliance, the world's largest alliance of independent hotel brands and operator of the award-winning loyalty program GHA DISCOVERY. This collaboration is facilitated through their long-standing joint venture, Ultratravel Collection.

This year's ULTRAs took place at Kensington Palace, specifically in The State Apartments and The Orangery. Featuring 18 categories, the awards celebrated prominent names in the travel industry, as chosen by millions of GHA DISCOVERY members. This year's awards highlighted the increasing global appreciation for excellence in various luxury travel experiences.

The awards were presented by well-known UK TV presenters Natalie Pinkham and Gethin Jones. A number of celebrities were in attendance, including HRH Princess Eugenie, double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes, Charlotte Hawkins, one of the anchors on Good Morning Britain, and Australian-British author Kathy Lette.
