Terminal 2 Career Fair Highlights Airport Jobs and Aviation Growth
HKIA Expo & Career Fair 2026 opened at Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2 on 23 May 2026, bringing together more than 4,400 job opportunities across the airport community. Organized jointly by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) and the Labour Department, the two-day event was part of the opening activities for the airport’s new Terminal 2 facilities.
The career fair featured participation from around 40 airport-related companies, offering employment opportunities across inflight services, ground handling, air cargo, aircraft maintenance, airport security, catering, baggage handling, and aviation operations.
Airport Authority Hong Kong also offered around 70 positions across several departments, including airfield operations, aviation logistics, information technology, and systems engineering.
The event also highlighted AAHK’s talent development initiatives, including its Management Trainee Programme, Graduate Engineer Programme, IT Trainee Programme, and Summer Internship Programme for students and graduates.

Vivian Cheung, Chief Executive Officer of AAHK, said the opening of Terminal 2 marks another phase in the airport’s expansion, while the career fair reflects the role of aviation growth in creating employment opportunities for the local workforce.
Throughout the event, participating companies are hosting career talks focused on aviation industry trends, interview guidance and career planning. Some companies are also conducting on-site recruitment interviews.
Visitors attending the fair could also access complimentary services including CV consultations, professional profile photography, personal colour analysis, and MBTI personality assessments. Terminal 2 departures facilities at Hong Kong International Airport were scheduled to begin operations from 27 May, with 15 airlines gradually relocating regional route check-in services to the new terminal through mid-June ahead of the summer travel period.
The event highlighted Hong Kong International Airport’s continued development as it prepared for increased passenger and aviation activity during the upcoming summer travel season.
