Hishan Singhawansa Appointed as New CEO at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts

Cinammon Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Hishan Singhawansa as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Hishan was associated with John Keels Group (JKH) for over 17 years. He steps into the new role at a pivotal time for Sri Lanka’s tourism industry, which has recorded a 30% surge in arrivals from India in the first half of 2025, reaffirming the country’s largest source market.

In his new role, Hishan will aim to enhance the brand’s contribution to the sector and elevate the country’s profile as a global destination.
