Hilton Honors Members Can Bid for VIP Boat Race Experience on the Thames
Members of Hilton Honors can bid their points for a VIP hospitality and launch boat experience during The Boat Race in London on April 4, 2026.
The initiative is part of the continued partnership between Graduate by Hilton and The Boat Race, with the hotel brand serving as the Official Hotel Partner of the annual rowing event for the fifth consecutive year.
Held each spring on the River Thames, The Boat Race features crews from the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge competing over a 4.25-mile course. The event is a longstanding sporting tradition that attracts large crowds along the riverbanks and television audiences worldwide.
Through the Hilton Honors Experiences platform, members can bid points for access to a launch boat viewing experience on race day. Guests will be able to watch the men’s race from an official boat on the Thames, offering a close view of the competition.
The package also includes VIP hospitality access at the Thames Rowing Club, where guests will receive food and beverages along with commentary from alumni connected to the race. In addition, the package includes a one-night “Be My Guest” certificate that can be used at any Hilton property worldwide.
Bidding for the experience is open through March 24, 2026, with the event taking place in London on April 4, 2026. Travel costs, such as rail or airfare, are not included.

Visitors planning to attend the race can also stay at nearby Hilton properties, including Graduate by Hilton Cambridge and The Randolph Hotel Oxford, a Graduate by Hilton. Both hotels will host team dinners before race day and serve as accommodation options for spectators visiting the event.
The Boat Race continues to attract strong public interest. The 2025 edition reached a peak television audience of 2.82 million viewers on the BBC, while more than 200,000 spectators watched from along the riverbanks.

With the Hilton Honors experience, members have the opportunity to attend the event in person and view the race directly from the Thames while participating in hospitality activities connected to the occasion.
