Hampton by Hilton Signs Five Hotels in India with NILE Hospitality
Hilton and NILE Hospitality have announced the signing of five Hampton by Hilton hotels across India, marking a new phase in their long-term partnership under a strategic licensing agreement. The development is aimed at expanding the brand’s presence in India’s mid-market hospitality segment.
The first five hotels under the agreement will be located in Amritsar (two properties), Vrindavan, Raipur, and Lonavala. Together, these hotels will comprise more than 350 keys and are expected to open within the next two years. Once operational, they will join a global portfolio of more than 3,000 Hampton by Hilton hotels worldwide.
Localised Design and Guest Experience
The India expansion will introduce Hampton by Hilton’s core brand experience alongside adaptations informed by consumer research in the Indian market. These include optimised room and bathroom layouts, fitness centres at every property, and a focus on rest and sleep supported by enhanced bedding standards.
Food and beverage offerings will also be tailored to local preferences, with a regionally inspired breakfast menu, a 24-hour coffee station, and the introduction of “Sunny Sides”, a full-service restaurant concept designed specifically for Hampton by Hilton’s India portfolio, serving complimentary breakfast.
Partner Perspectives

Clarence Tan, Senior Vice President, Development, Asia Pacific, Hilton, said the signings reflect the strength of Hilton’s partnership with NILE Hospitality and its focus on expanding access to branded midscale accommodation across India.

Jenny Milos, Vice President, Brand Management, Suites & Focused Service, Asia Pacific, Hilton, noted that the brand’s approach balances consistency in service standards with regional customisation, allowing Hampton by Hilton to adapt to local guest expectations while maintaining its core brand promise.

Vikram Singh Chauhan, Founder and CEO of NILE Hospitality, said the partnership responds to growing demand for branded midscale hotels in cities where religious tourism, leisure travel, domestic business travel, and infrastructure development intersect. He added that these markets offer opportunities to address gaps in the supply of quality accommodation.
Loyalty and Digital Experience
Hampton by Hilton hotels in India will participate in Hilton Honors, Hilton’s guest loyalty programme spanning 25 hotel brands. Members booking directly through Hilton channels can access benefits such as flexible Points-and-cash payments, member-only rates, complimentary standard Wi-Fi, and digital features via the Hilton Honors mobile app, including digital check-in and room access using a Digital Key.
With these initial signings, Hilton and NILE Hospitality are laying the foundation for the Hampton by Hilton brand’s growth in India, positioning it to serve domestic and international travellers seeking consistent, midscale accommodation across emerging and established destinations.
