Frasers Hospitality Announces Asset Enhancement Programme Across Four Global Cities
Frasers Hospitality, a business unit of Frasers Property Limited, has announced a series of asset enhancement initiatives (AEIs) across four properties in Kuala Lumpur, London, Melbourne and Singapore. The programme forms part of the company’s strategy to upgrade key assets, strengthen operational performance, and support long-term portfolio growth.
The investment programme, valued at approximately $140 million, focuses on upgrading facilities, improving operational systems and aligning the properties with evolving guest expectations and sustainability standards.
Renovations Planned for London, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore
One of the projects involves transforming the former Park International Hotel in London into Capri by Fraser, Kensington / London. The property has been closed since October 2025 for refurbishment and is scheduled to reopen in February 2027. The redevelopment includes redesigned guest rooms, upgraded building systems and the introduction of communal spaces such as The Den. The renovation will also increase the property’s room inventory by nine keys.
In Australia, Novotel Melbourne on Collins will undergo a phased refurbishment expected to conclude by June 2027. The project focuses on space optimisation within the existing building structure, adding 72 additional rooms and aligning the property with the brand’s latest design standards.

In Malaysia, The Westin Kuala Lumpur will see upgrades to guest rooms, the lobby and dining spaces. The renovation also includes improvements to mechanical and electrical systems to enhance operational efficiency and environmental performance. The works are expected to be completed by July 2027.
Meanwhile, Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore, is undergoing a phased transformation scheduled for completion in December 2027. The renovation includes upgrades to guest rooms, public spaces, dining venues and meeting facilities while maintaining the building’s architectural heritage. The hotel will remain operational during the renovation period.

According to Jason Leong, Head of Investment and Asset Management at Frasers Hospitality, the asset enhancement programme reflects the company’s approach to reinvesting in key urban markets while adapting to changing travel demand and operational requirements.
Across the portfolio, the upgrades will focus on improving accommodation layouts, introducing shared social spaces, and enhancing sustainability performance. The programme also supports Frasers Hospitality’s broader strategy of strengthening asset performance while maintaining long-term value across its global portfolio.
