Emirates and IHG Hotels & Resorts have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore joint initiatives aimed at addressing the travel needs of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in global markets. The partnership will focus on developing collaborative programs that deliver targeted benefits for business travellers in the SME sector.

The agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony attended by Nabil Sultan, Emirates’ Executive Vice President for Passenger Sales and Country Management; Matthew Jones, VP-USA, Emirates; Ashraf Baytam, Senior Manager Global Business Travel, Emirates; and Ryan Plemmons, Vice President, Global Sales Strategy, IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Through this MoU, both companies aim to offer value-driven travel solutions, including incentives and loyalty rewards, tailored to the business requirements of SMEs. The partnership is expected to enhance integration between Emirates’ global network and IHG’s diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts.

Nabil Sultan noted,

“SMEs are a key contributor to economic development and employment generation. At Emirates, we are focused on supporting this segment with practical and accessible travel solutions. Partnering with IHG allows us to explore joint opportunities that extend greater value to our SME customers and broaden our engagement within this important market.”

Mark Sergot, SVP, Global Sales at IHG Hotels & Resorts, commented,

“This collaboration with Emirates reflects our commitment to serving the evolving needs of SMEs by combining our global hospitality footprint with Emirates’ international connectivity. We aim to create programs that deliver meaningful value and enhance the travel experience for business clients.”
